February 12, 2025

Daniel Prado Morales’ retirement was celebrated in true CFL style with a barbecue meal for crew and staff at the Marine Workshop on January 31st.

Daniel has been with CFL for a 27 years and has worked the Pioneer, Valiant, Gambler and most recently as 2nd Engineer on the company’s flagship, CFL Hunter.

CFL’s General Manager Janet Robertson paid tribute to his loyalty to the company and presented him with a Falklands map with paintings of the Gambler and Hunter by local artist Keiran Thain while his engine room colleagues surprised him with a gift of a watch.

Daniel will be missed by the Hunter crew and by all the staff who wish him a long and relaxing retirement.
