Cape Pembroke Lighthouse restoration progress

April 16, 2026

A visit to the Cape Pembroke Lighthouse was on the agenda for the CFL team recently, for an update on how the restoration works are progressing.

Alongside representatives from Beauchene Fishing Company, FIG and the Falkland Islands Museum and National Trust, the group were shown around the lighthouse to see the latest work that is in motion.

Currently, the restoration team are working on sandblasting the structure and repairing the dome, ready for it to be placed back in its former glory atop the lighthouse.

Consolidated Fisheries Limited are proud to be helping restore this iconic landmark and eagerly await to see the finished project.

A big thank you to Paul Ellis, Jamel Adeoye and the team for all their hard work so far!
