Consolidated Fisheries, a leading company in the fishing industry, is seeking a highly motivated and well-organised PR and Office Administrator to join our team. This varied role combines communication, office management, and payroll administration

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day office operations, including correspondence, scheduling, record-keeping and office supplies.
  • Administer crew and office wages, ensuring accurate payroll processing and timely payments.
  • Act as the first point of contact for internal and external enquiries.
  • Draft press releases, newsletters, and other communications on behalf of the company.
  • Support public relations activities, including media liaison, community engagement, and events.
  • Maintain company social media channels and website updates.
  • Assist senior management with administrative and project support as required.
  • Ensure company documents and communications reflect a professional and consistent brand image.

Essential Requirements
  • GCSEs (Grade A*–C / 9–4) in English and Maths (or equivalent).
  • NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
  • Experience in payroll administration.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, adaptable, and team-oriented attitude.
    Desirable Requirements
    • AAT Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Bookkeeping/Payroll.
    • CIPR Foundation Award or equivalent PR/communications training.
    • Experience managing business social media channels and websites.
    • Communication skills in Spanish.
    • Knowledge of, or interest in, the fishing industry is an advantage.
